Wicked Matinee Tickets

Wicked at The Apollo Victoria Theatre, London

Matinee performances of Wicked are on Wednesday & Saturdays.

One of the West End’s most popular family shows, Wicked takes audiences on a magical journey through the untold story of the Witches of Oz. Based on the novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, Wicked is a musical that appeals to all ages with a marvellous story and spellbinding music and effects. Elphaba and Glinda first meet as young sorcery students but after finding themselves in Oz, and under the spell of the Wizard, their destinies as 'Glinda the Good' and the 'Wicked Witch of the West' see them take very different paths. Wicked Matinee Tickets promise a fabulous afternoon’s entertainment at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

Latecomers may not be admitted to a performance, and if admitted, may not be seated in the seats that have been originally allocated.

Certainly, Wicked has roots in Frank L. Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, but many of the concepts from the classic 1939 film are copyrighted by MGM. Look out for clever allusions to Dorothy and her little canine buddy.

Don’t bother queuing for the loo when you get there; the Apollo Victoria is huge and there are a number of facilities throughout the theatre. The ones at the sides of the auditorium are usually free just before the start of the show.

The Apollo Victoria’s stage door is located just down Wilton Road from the theatre's main entrance. If it looks quiet, see if you can meet the cast; signed programmes, posters and flyers go for a fortune on Ebay.

Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre

Originally built as a cinema the Apollo Victoria Theatre auditorium is on two levels: Stalls and Circle, with clear, unobstructed views from all seats. As shown in the seating plan below, the large auditorium offers plenty of choice. In the Stalls rows Q and X have the best legroom. In the Circle price differences reflect height and distance from the stage. Legroom becomes more limited towards the rear of this level.
